COACH'S QUOTE
"It's always good to get a win," head coach
Kate Pfeifer said. "The team had a strong start today, let up the first goal, but again showed some resilience to fight back and finish two of our own. It was great to see the group convert on a corner after a number of chances."

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Colgate's Olivia Krogermeier opened the afternoon's scoring with a rebound goal following the Raiders' first penalty corner in the 17th minute. Sierra Espeland (3 saves) made the initial save on Nora Mulroy's shot, but Krogermeier was there to finish the rebound.
- Lauren Tucker found Sydney Melfi with a long pass in the 22nd minute to give the sophomore space in the Colgate circle. Melfi ripped a backhand shot past Emma Goldberg (5 saves) to tie the game.
- Colgate's first chance of the second half came in the 63rd minute on the Raiders' third penalty corner of the match. The Catamount defense held firm, preventing a shot.
- The Catamount offense struck on its seventh penalty corner of the afternoon in the 67th minute. Vermont moved the ball around the top of the Colgate circle before Pleun Haantjes ripped a shot against the grain to a waiting Godsman, who deflected the ball in. Haantjes tallied her first assist of the season while Tucker picked up her second helper of the game on the goal.
- Vermont held a 13-6 shot advantage and a 7-3 edge on penalty corners. The Catamount defense did not allow a Colgate shot in the second half.
