BURLINGTON, Vt. – The University of Vermont, working in conjunction with Learfield Licensing, announced Friday the launch of a vintage-inspired merchandise collection. The promotion of the new line coincides with the weekend's alumni and homecoming events.

UVM Bookstore
The vintage collection pays tribute to the University's historical traditions and trademarks through fashion-forward apparel and non-apparel products. Vermont has brought back four popular vintage logos for the launch of the program, including two with former University mascots: Kitty and Charlie – all which have deep meaning for fans and help tell the story of Vermont's successful athletic and academic programs.

Krista Balogh, Associate Athletic Director for External Relations and University Licensing Director. "There is no better time of the year than UVM Alumni and Reunion Weekend to share this exciting news in partnership with our friends at the UVM Bookstore!"
The University's Athletic Department and Licensing Office have collaborated on the collection, which is being promoted as "Celebrate the Heritage" and "#VermontVintage" on social media. The new collection officially launched 9 a.m. Friday morning at the UVM Bookstore in the Davis Center.
"It was an honor for our team to be involved in the development of the product line and marketing plan with an institution with such a rich history," said Ben Emmons, vice president of marketing for Learfield Licensing Partners. "This is a program that will definitely continue to grow with new offerings that will resonate both with alumni and fans that want to pay homage to UVM's past."
Vermont vintage-inspired merchandise is available both in-person and online at the UVM Bookstore as well as the Catamount Store on Church Street.
