CURRENT CATS IN ROAD GAMES
Anthony Lamb has racked up 15.6 points and 5.1 boards per game in road games during his UVM career. He also has a better field goal percentage (52.1%) and three-point percentage (40.0%) away from Patrick Gym. In a similar fashion,
Ernie Duncan has averaged 11.2 points per game and shot 42.5% from three-point land in road contest during his Catamount career. He has also grabbed more rebounds (141), dished out more assists (114), and logged more steals (32) away from home.
BENCH MOB
UVM's bench scored 25 points at George Washington on Wednesday, the most against a Division I opponent since the reinforcements tallied 26 points against Middle Tennessee in the NIT last year. The Cats' reserves provided 62 points against Division III NVU-Lyndon earlier this month.
LAMB'S BLOCKADE
Lamb has recorded four blocks in a game three times this season, all Vermont wins. The Catamounts are an impressive 29-8 when the junior forward swats at least one shot.
DUNCAN MOVES INTO THE TOP-25
Duncan has cracked the top-25 on Vermont's all-time scoring list with 1,131 career points. He is currently the program's all-time leader in three-point percentage (41.4%) and ranks fourth with 246 career three-pointers.
SCOUTING TOWSON
The Tigers rebounded from an 0-3 trip at the Islands of the Bahamas Showcase with an 85-69 victory over in-state rival Loyola (Md.) on Sunday. From the 10-team Colonial Athletic Association field, Towson has the fifth-best field goal percentage defense (44.7%). The Tigers has averaged the second-most offensive rebounds (11.5) in the CAA behind only James Madison (12.3). Brian Fobbs leads the offensive scoring attack with 12.3 points per game. He notched a new career-high against Loyola with 25 points and eight boards. Tobias Howard follows with an 11.2 scoring average and also set a new career high with 23 points against Loyola.
INSIDE THE SERIES
The Catamounts will try to even the all-time series as the Tigers hold a slight 13-12 edge. UVM and Towson used to meet twice a year during the regular season when the Tigers were an America East member from 1995-2001. The former conference rivals will square off for the first time since December of 2012. In the last five meetings, the record is deadlocked at 5-5.
