LAST TIME OUT
Vermont suffered a 20-5 non-conference defeat to Jacksonville on Sunday afternoon.
Megan Prescott led the way offensively with four goals and two other Dolphins recorded hat tricks in the win. Kristen Brunoforte picked up the win in net for JU, making four saves in 52 minutes of action.
Elise Koehl scored a pair of goals as four different Cats registered a point.
AMONG THE LEAGUE'S BEST
In her first season in Catamount Country, Koehl is one of the top offensive threats in America East. The Louisville transfer sits second in the conference with 20 goals, trailing only UMBC's Sara Moeller with 21 goals. She also holds a top-five spot on the league's points list (23).
CRACKING THE TOP-FIVE
Bernier is only one assist shy of cracking the top-five on the program's career assists list. The senior has dished out 47 assists in her career and she can tie Abigail Collins (1987-90) for fifth all-time with one more assist. The York, Maine native is the third-best distributor in the conference with 10 assists this season.
SCOUTING STETSON
The Hatters struggled out of the gate with five straight defeats but reached the win column for the first time this season with a 15-11 victory against Central Connecticut State on Monday. Stetson has two of the top scorers in the Atlantic Sun. Taylor Patrizi ranks third in the league with 15 points on 12 goals and three assists. She has logged a pair of hat tricks on the year. Shelby Lehmann follows in a fourth-place tie with 14 points on 11 points and three assists. Lehmann registered a hat trick last time out against the Blue Devils. In goal, Liza Diamond is the Atlantic Sun leader with a 46.3% save percentage.
45TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION
The women's lacrosse team will host a celebration of its 45th anniversary of being a varsity team on Saturday, March 24 as it participates in a lacrosse doubleheader hosting Binghamton University at Virtue Field.
