LAST TIME OUT
UVM began their three-game road trip with a 17-6 defeat at twin state rival New Hampshire last Saturday.
Jenna Janes recorded her fourth hat trick of the season with four goals. The junior handed out an assist and won three draw controls.
Elise Koehl and
Bailey Saneman added one goal apiece.

Catherine Green saved three shot attempts in a relief appearance.
ROAD WARRIORS
The Catamounts have played eight of their 13 games away from home this season. The trips have spanned across five states (Connecticut, Florida, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and New York) and Vermont has played opponents from five different conferences (America East, Atlantic 10, Atlantic Sun, Metro Atlantic Athletic Association, and the Patriot League).
STOP RIGHT THERE!
Kuras ranks in the top-10 nationally in total saves. The junior netminder is tied for seventh in Division I with 132 saves. She also sits 35th with 3.92 ground balls per game and only needs five more ground balls to crack the top-10 on the school's career ground balls list.
PASSING IT OFF
Alex Bernier's senior campaign of 17 assists is only two assists shy of cracking the top-10 on UVM's single season assists list. Two years ago, the Falmouth, Maine native tallied 26 assists for the third-highest single season total. She has racked up 54 assists in her career – the fourth most by a Catamount.
SCOUTING UMBC
The Retrievers, the No. 3 ranked team in the America East Preseason Coaches' Poll, sit one game behind Binghamton for the fourth and final playoff spot. UMBC has held its opponents to 9.93 goals per game – the 25th lowest average in the country. Sara Moeller has been one of the top scorers in the country. The junior ranks 12th in the nation, third in America East, with 64 points on 39 goals and 25 assists. Carolyn Jamison trails Moeller with 46 points on 31 goals and 15 assists. The senior midfielder has been one of UMBC's key contributors in reaching the win column. Jamison has tallied 24 goals in victories compared to only seven goals in losses. In goal, Kelsey Major has recorded the sixth-lowest goals-against average (10.65) among her conference peers. Her 10.65 GAA is the 32nd-best average in Division I.
INSIDE THE SERIES
Since the all-time series began in 2004, the conference rivals have been very competitive but UMBC holds a slight 8-6 edge over UVM. The Catamounts have won three of the last five meetings. In those five contests, the outcome was decided by three goals or less four times.

Vermont will wrap up non-conference play at 20th-ranked Dartmouth on Wednesday (April 18). The opening draw is set for 3 p.m. Fans can watch the non-conference finale on the
