BURLINGTON, Vt. – Former Catamount goaltender
Jeff Hill '08 has been promoted from Director of Hockey Operations to Assistant Coach with the University of Vermont men's hockey program, head coach
Kevin Sneddon announced on Wednesday.

Jeff Hill has been promoted from Director of Hockey Operations to Assistant Coach," said Sneddon. "Jeff's passion for UVM has been evident in everything he does for the program. His positive energy, strong relationships with our student-athletes, his hockey knowledge, and his loyalty have been very evident during the past three years."

Kevin Patrick will remain as our Associate Head Coach with the added responsibility of becoming our Recruiting Coordinator," Sneddon added. "We are in the process of searching for a Director of Hockey Operations as well as a Volunteer Coach. There are great candidates available for both positions and I know our staff will be stronger than ever when all is said and done."
Hill will enter his fourth year with the men's hockey staff after serving two seasons in hockey operations. He began as a volunteer assistant coach during the 2015-16 season and worked with Catamount goalies, helping the group post a combined 2.64 goals against average, .912 save percentage, and four shutouts.
Hill spent four years as a student-athlete at Vermont from 2004-08 and won the team's Mike Gilligan Award for leadership and community service as a senior. The Rhode Island native was also a three-year member of the UVM men's lacrosse team and graduated with a degree in psychology and a minor in sociology.
