COACH'S QUOTE
"I thought our guys played hard for the most part but may have looked a little nervous at times," said Cioffi Men's Basketball Head Coach
John Becker. "I thought we got some good contributions from guys who haven't play much in the past.
Isaiah Powell played really well for us and
Bailey Patella gave us a spark off the bench. Plus, I think
Stef Smith has really grown and his consistency will be really important for us. Everett was also really good for us tonight."

HOW IT HAPPENED
	- Vermont jumped out to a 20-11 lead through the first 10 minutes of the game. Newcomer Daniel Giddens put up four points to get the Catamounts rolling while Everett Duncan hit three triples.

	- The Catamounts closed out the opening half with a 15-6 run in the final seven minutes, powered by 10 points from Ryan Davis. The sophomore forward shot 6-of-8 from the field during the stretch as the Cats took a 38-22 lead into the locker room.

	- The Bears clawed back with a 20-9 run at the midway point of the second half to trim the deficit back to single digits. Brandon Anderson fueled the run with eight points, including a pair of triples, but the Green and Gold held a 50-42 advantage with 10 minutes left to play.

	- UVM and Brown exchanged buckets to close out the game as the Catamounts outscored the Bears 18-17 in the final 9:38.
