HAMILTON, N.Y. – Kate Hall scored in the sixth minute to take the lead as the Vermont Catamounts (6-9, 1-3 AE) controlled play en route to a 4-1 victory over the Colgate Raiders (2-14, 1-7 Patriot) on Sunday afternoon at Tyler's Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- UVM went on the offensive early as they outshot Colgate 4-1 in the opening quarter. Hall's goal was quickly followed up by Bailey Matthews' seventh of the season in the ninth minute. Sydney Melfi and Claudia Cotter had assists on the game-winning goal.
- The two teams shared scoreless second and third quarters as Vermont controlled the shot total with a 6-2 shot advantage in the two frames. The Raiders were unable to register a shot in the third quarter.
- Cotter netted her first goal of the season on a penalty corner in the 50th minute when she fired a shot through heavy traffic. Pleun Haantjes and Sydney Melfi were credited with assists on the goal.
- In the 53rd minute, Hall tallied her second goal of the game when she cleaned up a rebound following a penalty corner for her sixth marker of the season.
- Colgate's Meghan Minturn found the scoresheet with her third tally of the season in before time expired in the 55th minute.
NOTES
- Vermont finished with a 16-9 shot advantage over Colgate, led by Clodagh Ferry who had a game-high six shots. Hall led the Cats with three shots on goal.
- With the victory, the Cats Win, Community Wins campaign and Vermont Mutual Insurance Group will donate $100 to Make-A-Wish Vermont; bringing this year's total to 86 wins and $8,600.Â
