Vermont has won three out of its last four regular season finales. UVM beat Binghamton in 2015 and 2016, then took down Stony Brook in 2017.
SCOUTING UALBANY
The defending conference champions stand at 5-1-1 in the America East standings and can secure a first-round bye with a win on Thursday night. In league play, the Great Danes have the second-highest scoring offense with 12 goals. On the defensive end, UAlbany also ranks second in league play with six goals allowed. Overall, Jada Colbert sits fourth in America East with a team-best five goals and seventh with 12 points. Twin sister Jasmine Colbert follows with nine points on four goals and one assist. Netminder Sophia Chen has the fifth-best goals-against average (1.01) and save percentage (.791) among America East goalies.
INSIDE THE SERIES
The Catamounts lead the all-time series with the Great Danes 13-10-1. The series opened with seven straight victories for the Cats and nine of the first 10 overall. The Green and Gold will try to snag a victory over the Purple and Gold in Burlington for the first time since 2013.
