WHERE BECKER GOT HIS START
Cioffi Men's Basketball Head Coach
John Becker served as Gallaudet's head men's basketball coach from 1997-99, his first collegiate head coaching job. Gallaudet is the country's only four-year liberal arts college for the deaf and hard of hearing. In his two years at the helm, Becker guided the Bison to back-to-back Capital Athletic Conference Tournament appearances. Prior to his stint as head coach, he was an assistant coach from 1994-97. Gallaudet's current coach Kevin Kovacs was a former player under Becker during the 1994-95 season. Becker was also the Bison's head men's tennis coach from 1995-97.
