MEN'S LACROSSE NOTEBOOK
The Vermont Catamounts (1-1) host the Holy Cross Crusaders (0-1) in the first game of the 2019 season at Virtue Field Saturday. The game is set to start at 12:00 p.m. and will stream for free on CatamountTV. Tickets are available through the link below, adults can purchase tickets for $5 and children tickets are $3.

SCOUTING THE CRUSADERS
Holy Cross plays its second game of the 2019 season against the Catamounts at Virtue Field Saturday. The Crusaders opened the season with a 12-5 loss to Providence in Worcester, Massachusetts. Five different players scored for Holy Cross in the loss.

In 2018, Holy Cross posted a 4-9 overall record and 2-6 mark in Patriot League play. Kevin Kodzis led the Crusaders in scoring a season ago and returns for his junior season. He posted 21 goals and 28 points in 2018. Senior Drew Babiak returns after an 18 point campaign last season as a junior.

UVM holds a 16-7 all-time record in a series dating back to 1982 against the Crusaders. Vermont is looking for its fourth straight win over Holy Cross on Saturday at Virtue Field. Vermont won 11 straight over Holy Cross from 1985 through 2006.

Vermont Men's & Women's Lacrosse Coaches invite program alumni back for a joint alumni day with a doubleheader and reception for program alumni. The day will start at 11 a.m. with women's lacrosse hosting Stony Brook in the annual Vanessa Cox #23 Memorial Game. The men's lacrosse team will continue the action at 2:30 p.m. hosting UAlbany. All Vermont lacrosse alumni and their guests are invited to a reception with the coaching staffs at Halvorson's Upstreet Café (Church Street) from 6-8 p.m. Alumni are asked to register by February 28 to be guaranteed their requested t-shirt size. Click
