COACH'S QUOTE
We had a very solid Day 2 at the championships with many hard fought points highlighted by
Lauren Trumble's meet record in the 1000m," said associate head coach
Joe Gingras. "For the women, edging UMBC and UNH for fifth place were good hard fought wins. The 4x800 and 4x400 relay teams really stepped up to ensure those wins. For the men, the sixth-place finish was solid given a few last minute injuries and illnesses. Justin Leichty set a great tone with a school record and all-conference performance in the 400 that was followed with a win for
Dan DeBlieck. Overall a very good day where many athletes rose to the occasion in a very good conference."
