MIDDLEBURY, Vt. – The Catamounts took the trip south to Middlebury on Saturday and returned to Burlington with seven individual victories. There were no team scores in the event. Sydney Greenidge led the way for Vermont with a pair of wins.

"We made some more progress as a team today with a lot of outstanding performances. Happy to see Shane get a victory after working really hard to get back to form. Sydney getting two wins with very good times was especially noteworthy also.
Alex Beal's 3K was tremendous as she has continued her streak of personal bests and first place finishes. Lucy's win in the 800 shows great promise as she is racing better every week. Looking forward to seeing more progress next weekend."
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The first Catamount victory of the day went to Sydney Greenidge in the women's 60m dash with a 7.86.
- Ryleigh Garrow's 9.04 was quick enough to win the women's 60m hurdles with Erin Carty finishing third in 9.45.
- Greenidge was back on top in the 200m finishing in 26.62 for her second win of the day.
- The Catamount men collected a 1-2 finish in the men's 800m with Shane Jensen (1.59.35) narrowly beating James Cilwik (1:59.91)
- Lucy Hugunin made it a sweep in the 800m with a winning time of 2:23.10 in the women's race.
- In the men's heptathalon Luke Miller added another win with a 2:51.95
- Nick Kidder set a PR in the men's mile with a 4:20.70 to finish third. Will Locke was right behind in fourth at 4:20.80.
- Alex Beal continued her winning ways making it three straight events with a win. Back in the women's 3000m Beal set a personal best with a 9:48.46 trimming 10 seconds off of her time from the season's opening event.
UP NEXT
Vermont continues its weekly schedule with a trip to Cambridge, Massachusetts on the horizon. They will compete in the Gordon Kelly Invitational starting at 10 a.m. on Saturday, January 24.
