The Vermont Catamounts (3-1, 0-0 AE) head to Boston, Massachusetts to take on the Boston University Terriers (4-1, 0-0 Patriot) at Nickerson Field.

SCOUTING THE TERRIERS
Boston University enters Saturday with a 4-1 overall record with three consecutive wins following a loss at 15th-ranked Ohio State. The Terriers have wins over Bryant, Sacred Heart, and Dartmouth in their last three contests.

Sophomore Chris Gray leads the team in scoring with 14 goals and 34 points through five games. Gray has 105 career points in 22 career games. Senior James Burr leads the team with 17 goals in 2019. Junior Joe McSorley has started all five games in goal for the Terriers. He holds a .527 save percentage and 10.68 goals against average.

BU finished the 2018 season with an 8-9 overall record and 3-5 Patriot League conference record.

INSIDE THE SERIES
Vermont and Boston University meet for the third time in series history and first time since 2015 this Saturday in Boston. UVM plays its second game on Nickerson Field after taking a 13-9 win over BU in the first-ever meeting in 2014. The Terriers took a 15-7 win the following year on Virtue Field in Burlington.

It marked just the 15th time in program history Vermont has scored 20 or more goals. Vermont freshman
David Closterman joined elite company with his third consecutive America East Rookie of the Week honor following Vermont's 20-10 win over Quinnipiac. The Vermont freshman tallied his second-straight four point game with two goals and two assists.

Closterman became just the seventh player in conference history to win rookie of the week honors three consecutive times in one season. He joined Tehoka Nanticoke (UAlbany - 2018), TD Ierlan (UAlbany - 2017), Connor Fields (UAlbany - 2015), Kyle Vanderford (Hartford - 2015), Mike Rooney (Stony Brook - 2012), and Garett Kikot (Hartford - 2003).

Vermont Men's & Women's Lacrosse Coaches invite program alumni back for a joint alumni day with a doubleheader and reception for program alumni. The day will start at 11:00 a.m. with women's lacrosse hosting Stony Brook in the annual Vanessa Cox #23 Memorial Game. The men's lacrosse team will continue the action at 2:30 p.m. hosting UAlbany.Â
