BOSTON, Mass. – University of Vermont redshirt freshman Grace Giancola earned her second straight America East Rookie of the Week honor for her performance in Vermont's 14-10 win over Winthrop last Thursday (Mar. 10).

Giancola scored a goal, added two ground balls, and a season-high 14 draw controls in the win at Winthrop. Giancola has scored at least one goal in every game this season, and has seven goals and 10 points through six games. The Canton, Connecticut native is third in the conference with 5.50 draw controls per game.
 
GIancola returns to her home state this weekend as Vermont opens America East conference play at Hartford. The game is slated to begin at 11:00 a.m. at Al-Marzook Field in West Hartford, Connecticut.
