The Vermont Catamounts (6-4, 3-1 AE) look to close the America East road slate with a win over the Binghamton Bearcats (0-9, 0-3 AE) Saturday night in Vestal, New York.

The game is scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m. from Bearcats Sports Complex. The America East contest will stream on ESPN+ ($) in the United States and through AmericaEast.tv internationally.

SCOUTING THE BEARCATS
The Bearcats enter Saturday with an 0-9 overall record and 0-3 conference mark. Binghamton's scoring offense ranks 71st in the NCAA and its scoring defense ranks 63rd in the NCAA. The Bearcats rank in the bottom-10 in the NCAA in 11 statistical categories.

Joe Licata leads the team in goals (15) and points (22). He is tied for second on the team with seven assists. Griffen Konen is second on the team in goals (14) and points (18). Three other Bearcats have hit double-digit point totals in 2019.

Robert Martin has started all nine goals between the pipes, but has essentially split time with Kevin Carbone. Martin has a 13.60 GAA and .481 save percentage compared to Carbone's 12.75 GAA and .528 save percentage.

INSIDE THE SERIES
Binghamton holds a 9-8 all-time series record against Vermont. The teams have met annually since the series began in 2002. Vermont holds a 5-4 home record and 3-5 road record against Binghamton. UVM took a 10-6 win over the Bearcats last season in Burlington.

IARIA LAUDED BY AMERICA EAST
Freshman
Sal Iaria earned America East Rookie of the Week honors following his four point performance against UAlbany. Iaria netted two goals and added two assists in the second half of Vermont's 10-9 win over the Great Danes. He scored the game-tying goal with 3:37 to play and assisted on the game-winner with 2:04 remaining.

FRESHMEN STEAL THE SHOW
UVM's freshmen class leads the team in point and goal production in 2019. The freshmen have accounted for 66 of Vermont's 180 points for 36.7% of the team's point production. The newcomers have tallied 47 of Vermont's 114 goals for 41.2% of the team's goal production in 2019.

David Closterman (14-5-19), and Iaria (8-8-16) represent three of Vermont's top six scorers this season.

WASHUTA CRACKS TOP-10
Junior goalie
Nick Washuta now ranks ninth in the NCAA in both save percentage (.566) and goals against average (9.47). He leads America East in both categories.
