BURLINGTON, Vt. – Men's soccer freshman Rasmus Tobinski, a Physical Education major, is our TD Bank Student-Athlete of the week, for the period ending September 22.

Tobinski netted three goals in a split 1-1 week for the Catamounts. The Kiel, Germany native opened the week with a goal in Monday's 3-2 setback at Siena. He finished the weekend with two goals as UVM rebounded with a 3-0 clean sheet against Merrimack on Saturday.
 
The 6-1 forward leads the league in points (13), goals (6), game-winning goals (3), and shots (35). He has registered five goals in the last four games. He is the first Catamount to score a goal in four straight matches since Brian Wright '17 in 2016. Tobinski was also named the America East Offensive Player of the Week and Co-Rookie of the Week on Monday.
 
Vermont will open conference play at Stony Brook on Saturday (Sept. 28). The opening kickoff is set for 7 p.m. Fans can catch all of the action on AmericaEast.TV.
