BOSTON – The Hockey East Association announced the 2019 Preseason Coaches' Poll and a multi-year broadcast agreement with NESN at the annual Hockey East Media Day Thursday afternoon in the Legends Suite at TD Garden.

The television agreement spans multiple years and will feature 50 men's games and 15 women's games on NESN and NESNPlus in the 2019-20 season. The agreement will also broadcast both the men's and women's championship weekends on NESN.
The Catamount men will play seven televised games on NESN this season, beginning with a tilt against the Boston University Terriers at Agganis Arena on Saturday (Nov. 23). The Cats take on the Huskies of UConn to close out the first half schedule on Saturday (Dec. 7) at XCel Center.
The agreement also features the Catamounts on the road against Boston College (Jan. 4), Merrimack (Jan. 24), New Hampshire (Feb. 7 & 8), and Maine (Feb. 22).
Vermont was selected to finish 10th in the 2019 Preseason Coaches' Poll with 19 points. Boston College was selected as the preseason favorite for the second straight season, receiving 97 points and eight first place votes. Defending champion UMass tallied 85 points and received two first place votes to finish second in the poll.
