COACH'S QUOTE
"It was great to open the scoring today, and we created a few other solid chances," head coach

HOW IT HAPPENED

- The Tribe responded quickly as Lily Saunders tied the game at 1-1 in the 25th minute.
- Cara Menges gave the Tribe a 2-1 lead with an unassisted goal in the 39th minute. William & Mary's Melanie Strik doubled the lead three minutes later on the Tribe's second penalty corner of the game.
- Vermont goalie and Stafford, Virginia native Sierra Espeland finished the game with six saves.
GAME NOTES
