WAKEFIELD, Mass. – Freshman
Jacques Bouquot earned Hockey East Rookie of the Month honors in December following a five-point month. The conference announced the monthly awards earlier Monday.

Bouquot scored two goals, including his first career goal, and added three assists in Vermont's four games played. He led the Catamounts with a plus-5 rating.
In the 2019 Catamount Cup, Bouquot assisted the game-winning goals against Union (Dec. 28) and Lake Superior State (Dec. 29). He added the empty net goal in Vermont's win over Union. He earned Hockey East Rookie of the Week honors following the Catamount Cup win.
The South Windsor, Connecticut native was tied for fifth in Hockey East with five points and tied for the conference lead among rookies. He posted the fourth-most points among all NCAA rookies.
Bouquot leads the Catamounts in points (11), assists (9), and plus/minus (+6). He holds a five-game point streak and has an assist in each of the last three games. He has eight points in the last seven games.
The Catamounts take on the Yale Bulldogs (5-8-0, 4-6-0 ECAC) Tuesday night (Jan. 7) at Gutterson Fieldhouse. The tilt against the 2013 National Champions is slated to begin at 7:05 p.m. Tickets are available by clicking
