BURLINGTON, Vt – The UVM Alumni Association and Director of Athletics Jeff Schulman '89 are excited to announce the official launch of UVM Connect groups exclusive to Vermont varsity student-athletes and alumni.  While the UVM Connect networking platform is available to all UVM students and alumni, the UVM Athletics and sport-specific groups within the platform allow for teammates to connect directly within their athletic family.
 
UVM Connect, the university's alumni networking platform, was launched in the spring of 2018 and has quickly grown to nearly 8,600 active users.
 
"UVM Connect is the tool that is powering the UVM network," says Sarah Lenes, UVM's Assistant Vice President for Alumni Relations.  "The online community places the power of networking directly at the fingertips of the user.  It brings together alumni who have offered to help students looking for career guidance within the context of a shared athletic experience."
 
With the interest and success of UVM Connect, the Alumni Association and Athletic Department are excited to share this opportunity with all of our current and former student-athletes and invite them to join UVM Connect today, reconnect with their team, and help us power the UVM Alumni Network.  This is an exciting opportunity to introduce more direct networking between current and former team members for each program as well as all former Catamount varsity student-athletes.
