The Catamounts clinched their 12th-straight America East Tournament bid following Saturday's victory over UAlbany. Vermont has played in seven America East Semifinal Games, two America East Championship Games, and has one conference title in their previous 11 tournament appearances.

BARRETT NAMED DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Zach Barrett was named America East Defensive Player of the Week on Monday. Barrett scored the clinching goal in UVM's 2-0 win over UAlbany on Saturday and played all 180 minutes on the back line for the Catamounts who only allowed one shot on goal in that span.

SCOUTING THE RIVER HAWKS
UMass Lowell enters Thursday night's game tied for fourth in the America East standings with nine points. The River Hawks have strung together two consecutive wins, including a road victory at Stony Brook on October 17. America East Rookie of the Week and Offensive Player of the Week, Kai McLoughlin, leads the attack after scoring three times in UMass Lowell's 6-0 win over Hartford on Saturday. McLoughlin (4 goals) has eight points on the season, along with Reziq Banihani (2 goals, 4 assists) and Borna Miklic (4 goals). Christian Miesch has a 1.56 goals against average and .623 save percentage in 13 games played this season.

INSIDE THE SERIES
Vermont has a 3-2-3 mark in eight all-time meetings against UMass Lowell, dating back to 2013. In Burlington, the Catamounts are 3-0-2 against the River Hawks. Vermont beat UMass Lowell in both meetings last season by a pair of 1-0 victories.
