ALBANY, N.Y. – The UVM women's lacrosse team suffered its first conference loss of the season with a 20-5 loss at UAlbany on Saturday evening. The Catamounts drop to an even 3-3 on the year and 3-1 in league play. The Great Danes stand at 6-3 overall and match the Cats with a 3-1 mark in the America East standings.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Great Danes scored six straight goals to start the game but the Catamounts generated two free-position goals near the midway point. Maris Large netted her ninth goal of the season at the 15:19 mark, then Taylor Mullen added one of her own a minute later.
- UAlbany produced another five-goal run in a 9:29 span and stretched its lead to 11-2.
- Meghan O'Connor cashed in UVM's third free-position goal of the afternoon with 12 seconds remaining in the half.
