Vermont has been idle since its 16-5 win over UMass Lowell on April 10. The Cats used a blistering attack in the second half to turn a three-goal halftime lead into an 11-goal win.
Michael McCormack scored five times – four in the second half – while
Tommy Burke went 17-for-21 at the faceoff X. Vermont had nine goal scorers overall and fired 55 total shots against the Riverhawks.

Tommy Burke 17-for-21 effort at the X against UMass Lowell was the fifth time this season he's won the ball at a 70-percent or better clip. He currently ranks third in the country with a .704 win percentage (131-for-186). His 7.88 ground balls per game are also 11
th in the country entering the weekend.

SCOUTING THE BEARCATS
Binghamton comes in to Saturday's contest with a 3-4 record and fresh off a 22-8 defeat at the hands of Stony Brook last weekend. Thomas Greenblat leads the Bearcats in scoring with 18 points (12G, 6A) this season and Teddy Dolan has started all seven games in cage with a .578 save percentage. Matthew Desouza wins faceoffs at 60-percent this year – good for 14
th in the country.

INSIDE THE SERIES
Saturday marks the 19
th meeting between Vermont and Binghamton in the all-time series which dates back to 2002. The two teams have split the first 18 games. UVM has won four of the last five meetings against Binghamton including a 14-6 victory in Vestal two seasons ago.
