PLL Championship Preview
Bernhardt and the Whipsnakes are gunning for their third straight championship and reached the title game via one-goal wins over Redwoods and Waterdogs. The Maryland grad and two-time PLL All-Star scored one goal this season to go along with seven ground balls and five caused turnovers as a short-stick defensive midfielder.
MacKay, in his first season with Chaos, split his time at LSM and SSDM this summer. He scored three one-point goals and three 2-point goals while picking up 18 ground balls and causing six turnovers. MacKay was traded from the Archers to the Chaos last offseason and has played in all nine games this summer.
Whipsnakes defeated Chaos for the title during last summer's PLL Championship Series in Utah and also picked up a Week 1 victory this year in Foxboro.
