INSIDE THE SERIES
Vermont and New Hampshire meet for the 156th time – the longest series in program history. The Catamounts are 106-49 against the Wildcats and 58-18 at home. UVM has won 13 straight meetings against UNH, and have earned victories in 19 of the last 20. Vermont has beaten UNH in 22 straight meetings at Patrick Gym, with New Hampshire's last win here coming on Jan. 6, 2000.

SCOUTING THE WILDCATS
New Hampshire returns to action for the first time in 24 days after one cancelation and two postponements. The Wildcats were victorious in their last game, with a 92-54 win over Keene State on Dec. 13. UNH was selected third in the America East Preseason Poll, receiving one first-place vote. Jayden Martinez (17.6 ppg) and Nick Guadarrama (9.9 ppg) were named to the Preseason All-Conference Team. Martinez currently leads America East in scoring and rebounding. Blondeau Tchoukuiegno (11.0 ppg) averages 4.4 assists per game, which is the highest in the league.

UVM IN CONFERENCE OPENERS
The Catamounts are 20-22 all-time in America East/NAC openers since 1979. Vermont is 2-1 all-time in conference openers vs. New Hampshire (W, 64-51 in 2013; W, 58-53 in 2006; L, 71-65 in 1992). UVM has suffered losses in its last two conference openers, but is 7-3 under Cioffi Men's Basketball Head Coach John Becker.

CONSECUTIVE REGULAR SEASON TITLES
Vermont has earned at least a share of the America East Regular Season Title in each of the last five seasons, which is the second-longest active streak in Division I. Only Gonzaga has won more consecutive league titles (9) entering this season.
