SCOUTING THE BIG GREEN
Dartmouth comes to Burlington riding a two-game winning streak, which includes a 3-2 victory preseason Ivy League favorite Yale on Saturday. The Big Green are currently sixth in the Ivy League standings. Dartmouth has faced one America East foe, UAlbany, and played to a 1-1 draw on Sept. 17. The Big Green are led by senior David Alino, who has a team-high six goals and 12 points. Chosti Christodoulou has earned 10 starts in goal for Dartmouth, posting an .804 save percentage and 1.09 goals against average.

INSIDE THE SERIES
Vermont and Dartmouth square off for the 44th time in series history. The Catamounts took the first ever meeting, earning a 1-0 home victory in 1977. Vermont is 1-3-1 in its last five meetings with Dartmouth, with its last victory coming 2019.Â
Alex Nagy scored the clinching goal in the 63rd minute. UVM suffered a 1-0 loss to the Big Green down in Hanover late last season.

SILVEIRA AND COUTIÑO RECEIVE WEEKLY HONORS
Nate Silveira was named Defensive Player of the Week andÂ
Noe Coutiño was named Rookie of the Week on Monday (Oct. 17) by America East. Silveira earned two clean sheets in the victories, recording four saves against UMass and two saves against NJIT. Coutiño registered his first collegiate point with an assist in the 3-0 victory over UMass.

NATIONALLY-RANKED CATS
The Catamounts were ranked No. 12 in the United Soccer Coaches National Poll on Tuesday. The ranking is Vermont's highest ever by the United Soccer Coaches/NSCAA, and the second-highest national ranking in program history – Vermont was ranked 11th on the NCAA's Final Poll in 1989. Vermont is currently 12th in the NCAA's RPI ranking.

CATS ARE STREAKING
UVM owns the longest active winning streak in the country with 10 straight victories. The 10-game winning streak is the first for a Vermont team since its historic 1989 season. The 2022 Catamounts are currently tied for the second longest streak in program history.
SINCE '75
Vermont has 11 wins through 13 games for the first time since 1975 when the Cats were 11-2 en route to a Yankee Conference Co-Championship. The 2022 Catamounts and 1975 Catamounts are the only teams in program history with 11 victories through their first 13 games of the season.
