BURLINGTON, Vt. - After raising more than $370,000 to support UVM student-athletes last year in its annual campaign, the seventh annual Catamount Challenge kicks off today and runs through Friday, October 21 at 1 p.m.

Donations can be made at go.uvm.edu/gocats (all lower case) and all gifts will to go to an Excellence Fund for a specific UVM sport program.
 
Donations are currently being matched by donors for three UVM programs: track and field & cross country, men's soccer and women's soccer. To setup a matching gift for your team contact Kylie deGroot Spiegel at Kylie.Spiegel@uvm.edu or 802-656-4623.
 
The following prizes will be awarded to Catamount teams at the end of the Challenge:

• $2,500 for most overall donors
• $1,500 for most dollars raised
• $1,000 for most alumni donors

Any gift of $5 or more to any program counts! Please note that gifts made during the Catamount Challenge are not eligible for Victory Club benefits.
