Vermont prepares for their final regular season game of the season against America East foe UAlbany on Thursday, October 27. The Catamounts are 4-9-2 (0-5-2 AE) on the campaign while the Great Danes are 6-8-3 (3-2-2 AE). The start time for the match is slated for 6 p.m. and will be broadcast live on ESPN+.

BOSSERT LEADS CATAMOUNTS
Kate Bossert leads Vermont on the season with six goals, 14 total points and her two assists are tied for second on the team. Three of her six goals came in three consecutive America East matches against UMass Lowell, Binghamton and Maine during the heart of the season. Her 14 points is tied for fifth most for a UVM women's soccer student-athlete over the last 10 seasons, and she could move solely into first with three more points on the season. Her 18 shots on goal recorded this season is seventh in America East play and her 36 total shots is ranked eighth. Bossert's six goals on the season is tied for fifth in the conference while her 14 points has her in seventh in the America East.

REMINGTON'S ROOKIE CAMPAIGN
Sydney Remington has gotten off to a hot start in Catamount Country leading the team with four assists and is ranked second with three goals and 10 points. Her four assists are tied for third in America East play and is tied with UAlbany's Selma Elverum for first among first years. Remington's three goals have her ranked 18 in conference play and second among all rookies. With 10 points Remington sits in 14 place in America East play and is second among first year players in the America East only behind UAlbany first year Emily Jozak of UAlbany.

MILITARY APPRECIATION
Thursday's matchup with UAlbany will be the Catamounts' annual Military Appreciation game presented by Milton Cat. We encourage fans to visit with our friends fromÂ
Josh Pallotta Fund, a local non-profit providing critical services to veterans and active military personnel. As a thank you to those that have served or are currently serving, all military personnel will receive a complimentary ticket to the game with a valid military ID. Thursday, will also be the Catamounts make-up Poster Day presented by UVM Print and Mail where signed posters of the team will be passed out as fans enter Virtue Field.

SCOUTING THE GREAT DANES
UAlbany comes into Thursday's matchup with a 6-8-3 record overall and 3-2-2 in the America East following a 1-0 win over Hartford on Thursday, October 20. The Great Danes are led by first year Emily Jozak who has 14 points on seven goals this season. Her seven goals are good for third in the America East, and her three game-winning goals are tied for first. Junior Olivia Piraino has also contributed four goals for UAlbany. First year Selma Elverum leads the squad with four assists, and she has added a goal on the season for a total of six points. Junior goalkeeper Megan Hart holds down the net for the Great Danes, starting and playing every game this season amassing 72 saves, six wins, a 1.44 goals against average and .750 save percentage.

INSIDE THE SERIES
This will be the 29th time the Catamounts and Great Danes will meet in women's soccer. Vermont holds the all-time edge with a record of 15-12-1 with their last matchup coming at Virtue Field in the America East Semifinals in 2021. The Catamounts were victorious in that matchup 3-1 with
Karen Wallace scoring twice.
