California Highlights
Moran scored a goal – her seventh of the season – and added an assist in Vermont's thrilling 4-3 overtime victory over California on Sunday. It was also her fifth multi-point game of the season. Her tally came on an untimed penalty corner with no time left on the clock in the fourth quarter to tie the game at 3-3 and send it to overtime. She assisted on
Sophia Lefranc's game-winning overtime goal to close out the afternoon.
After battling injuries throughout her career, Moran has been an offensive weapon this season. She is tied for the team-lead in goals with seven and ranks third in points with 18.
Vermont heads to Maine this week for the America East Tournament. The No. 4 Catamounts take on No. 5 Stanford Thursday at noon on ESPN+ from the UMaine Field Hockey Complex in Orono.
