"We are very pleased that these three outstanding student-athletes are being recognized for academic achievement," head coach
Matt Belfield said. "This accomplishment is significant in that it demonstrates the balance they must strike in their lives to be successful in both arenas. It has long been a trademark of our program and we never take for granted the exemplary work our men and women do in the classroom. Special kudos to Sophie for being recognized for the first time in her fifth year with Catamount Cross Country -- very happy that she stayed with us this year and had such an impactful season. And for Andrew and Jane, congrats to simply two of the best who have ever worn the green and gold."
