CATS CAN CLINCH
The Catamounts can clinch the America East Regular Season Title with a win on Wednesday night at New Hampshire. Only Gonzaga (9) entered the season with more consecutive regular season titles than Vermont who had earned at least a share of the title in each of the five seasons. UVM can become the first Division I school to clinch a conference regular season title this season.
IN THE POLLS
Vermont was included in the latest
AP Top-25 poll for the first time since Mar. 18, 2020 when it received one vote in the national poll on Monday. UVM also vaulted in to the top 10 of the
College Insider Mid-Major Top-25 for the first time this season at No. 8.
JB 250
A win on Wednesday night would be Cioffi Men's Basketball Head Coach
John Becker's 250th victory as bench boss of the Catamounts. Becker currently ranks No. 3 on Vermont's all-time wins list behind Tom Brennan (264) and John "Fuzzy" Evans (260).
1K HUNT FOR DAVIS
Reigning America East Player of the Year,
Ryan Davis, needs only two points to register 1,000 career points. The senior would become the 41st Catamount in program history to reach the milestone and ninth under
John Becker.
