SCOUTING THE WILDCATS
New Hampshire enters Wednesday night's meeting with Vermont ranked in a three-way tie for third place with UMBC and Binghamton. The Wildcats hosted UMBC on Monday (Feb. 14) at Lundholm Gym and earned a 68-62 victory led by Jayden Martinez (20 points). Martinez leads UNH with a 14.9 scoring average and a 6.0 rebounding average. Nick Guadarrama (12.6 ppg) and Blondeau Tchoukuiegno (11.8 ppg) also average double figures for New Hampshire. Tchoukueigno also averages a league-high 4.0 assists per game this season.

INSIDE THE SERIES
Vermont and New Hampshire meet for the 157th time – the longest series in program history. The Catamounts are 107-49 all-time against the Wildcats and 43-31 in Durham. Vermont has won 14 straight meetings against New Hampshire and has earned victories in 19 of the last 20. The Catamount defeated the Wildcats 82-68 to open league play on Jan. 6 at Patrick Gym. Ben Shungu posted a career-high 29 points to lead UVM in the victory, which was televised nationally on ESPNU.

BOUNCE BACK
UVM has posted a 4-0 record in games after losses this season and have a 16-3 mark over the last four seasons.

CATS CAN CLINCH
The Catamounts can clinch the America East Regular Season Title with a win on Wednesday night at New Hampshire. Only Gonzaga (9) entered the season with more consecutive regular season titles than Vermont who had earned at least a share of the title in each of the five seasons. UVM can become the first Division I school to clinch a conference regular season title this season.

IN THE POLLS
Vermont was included in the latest AP Top-25 poll for the first time since Mar. 18, 2020 when it received one vote in the national poll on Monday. UVM also vaulted in to the top 10 of the College Insider Mid-Major Top-25 for the first time this season at No. 8.

JB 250
A win on Wednesday night would be Cioffi Men's Basketball Head Coach John Becker's 250th victory as bench boss of the Catamounts. Becker currently ranks No. 3 on Vermont's all-time wins list behind Tom Brennan (264) and John "Fuzzy" Evans (260).

1K HUNT FOR DAVIS
Reigning America East Player of the Year, Ryan Davis, needs only two points to register 1,000 career points. The senior would become the 41st Catamount in program history to reach the milestone and ninth under John Becker.
