SENIOR DAY
Six Catamounts will be honored on Senior Day, presented by the UVM Alumni Association.

Ben Shungu,
Isaiah Powell,
Justin Mazzulla, and
Bailey Patella will be honored, along with student manager Ollie Allen, prior to tip-off. This year's class contributed to America East Regular Season Titles in every season and was key in multiple league championships.

SCOUTING THE RIVER HAWKS
UMass Lowell is eighth in league standings, one game back from seventh-place Hartford. The River Hawks defeated Stony Brook 67-50 in their last outing. Allin Blunt leads the team's offense with a 13.3 scoring average in conference play. Max Brooks is a key contributor for the River Hawks averaging 10.4 points per game and 5.9 rebounds per game, which ranks fifth in the league. His 2.8 blocks per game leads America East. Ayinde Hikim also averages double figures with a 10.1 scoring average.

INSIDE THE SERIES
Vermont has a 14-3 record in the all-time series against UMass Lowell. UVM is 6-1 against the River Hawks at Patrick Gym. The Catamounts took the first matchup this season, defeating UML 78-67.
Ben Shungu led the game in scoring with 24 points on an impressive 4-for-5 performance from three.
Ryan Davis added 20 points of his own along with snatching 8 rebounds.

CATS THRU 28 GAMES
The 2021-22 Catamounts are the only the second team in program history to reach 23-5 in the first 28 games of the season. The 2016-17 Cats were also 23-5, en route to a program-best 29-6 record.

15 LEAGUE WINS
Vermont registered its 15th win in America East play for the first time since the 2017-18 campaign. The Catamounts have reached 15 or more wins in league play, just eight times in program history.

The Vermont men's basketball team will host an America East Quarterfinal game at Patrick Gym on Sunday, March 6 at 2 p.m. As the top seed, the Catamounts will face the eighth-seeded team.
