SCOUTING THE JASPERS
The Jaspers are off to a strong start to the 2022 campaign, but most recently lost 16-6 against UConn on Wednesday (Mar. 9). Manhattan was picked to finish eighth in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Preseason Poll after posting a 3-9 (3-8 MAAC) record a year ago. Senior attacker Grace Lipponer was selected to the preseason All-MAAC team. Lipponer was named to the All-MAAC second team after posting 39 points (32 goals, 7 assists) and averaging 2.67 goals per game in 2021.

INSIDE THE SERIES
The Catamounts lead the all-time series 3-2 heading into their sixth matchup against the Jaspers on Monday. Vermont won the last meeting with Manhattan 10-7 back in 2019.
Taylor Mullen produced four points (2 goals, 2 assists) in the Catamount victory and
Grace Giancola registered a goal of her own as well.

CATS CAUSE TURNOVERS
The Catamounts average 13.5 caused turnovers per game, which ranks third in the nation. Vermont registered its highest total of caused turnovers (19) at home against Wagner on Feb. 27.
Carolyn Carrera leads the Cats with 2.67 caused turnovers per game. Her average ranks fourth in the country and leads America East.

Carolyn Carrera has garnered a pair of America East weekly honors this season for her performance on the defensive end for the Catamounts. Carrera leads the league in caused turnovers as well as ground balls per game (3.67), which also ranks in the nation's top 10. In Vermont's 16-6 win at Marist, Carrera tallied a career-high seven ground balls.

STARTIN' LIKE 2019
The Catamounts are off to their best six-game start since the 2019 campaign. Vermont also began that season with a 5-1 mark, which included a win over Manhattan.

TWO AT HOME
UVM can open its home schedule with a pair of victories at Virtue Field for the first time since 2014. The Catamounts defeated Colgate (W, 14-11) and Siena (W, 18-4) in their first two home games of that season.
