The senior registered seven stops on 12 shots faced as the Catamounts defeated Marist 16-5 on a snowy afternoon in Poughkeepsie, N.Y. McLaughlin's seven saves are her third-highest total of the season. The Keene, N.H. native's .583 save percentage is her second-highest in a single game this season.
McLaughlin ranks third in America East with a 9.63 goals against average through seven games this season. The senior averages 6.14 saves per game, which ranks fifth in the league.
Vermont begins conference play on Saturday (Mar. 19) when it visits UMass Lowell at 3 p.m. The America East matchup will broadcast live on AmericaEast.TV.
