LAST TIME OUT
In the final non-conference game of the season, Vermont held visiting Canisius scoreless for two quarters in a convincing 15-6 win last weekend. The Cats had ten different goal scorers for the second straight game and seven different players posted multi-point games.
David Closterman led the way with three goals and two assists while
Nick Alviti scored twice – his first career multi-goal game.

Tim Norton combined to go 22-for-25 at the faceoff X.
BURKE NAMED MIDSEASON ALL-AMERICAN
Tommy Burke was named an Honorable Mention Inside Lacrosse Midseason All-American Thursday, as IL announced its midseason accolades. Burke currently ranks sixth in the country and first in the conference with a .622 faceoff win percentage. Last weekend against Canisius he went 17-for-20 with four ground balls. That 85% clip is the highest of his career when attempting at least 20 faceoffs.
