HELSINKI – University of Vermont men's hockey Director of Video
Erik Elenz will serve on the coaching staff for Germany at the 2022 IIHF World Hockey Championships which began today in Finland. Elenz, a senior in the Grossman School of Business, will be their video coordinator for the tournament.

Stephen Wiedler (Team Norway) and
Scott Moser (Team Slovakia) on the international stage in 2022.
"Personally, I am very proud of Erik as he begins his professional career – this is an excellent start for Erik to be part of a coaching staff at the highest level," continued Woodcroft. "We also know that Erik's work with the German Federation will further entrench us on the international stage as we mine the globe searching for top international talent. Good luck to Erik and the German National Team."
Germany will compete in Group A of the tournament facing Slovakia, France, Canada, Switzerland, Denmark, Kazakhstan and Italy. Each team in the group will play each other once and then the top four squads will advance to the quarterfinals. At last year's tournament in Riga, Latvia the Germans finished fourth overall. All tournament games will air on the NHL Network or ESPN+ in the United States.
