BOSTON – Six Catamounts earned All-America East honors for their performance on and off the field during the 2022 women's lacrosse regular season. The league announced its season-long honors on Wednesday morning.

Vermont had three of its student-athletes named to the All-Conference First Team for the first time since 2014.
Ava Vasile received the First Team honor for the second time in her career after leading the Catamounts to the No. 2 seed in the America East Tournament. The junior has posted a team-high 69 points (53 goals, 16 assists) during the regular season, which ranks No. 3 on the program's single-season points list.
Carolyn Carrera also received First Team honors after leading the nation in caused turnovers per game (3.00) and ranking fifth in ground balls per game (3.31). A member of the 2019 All-Rookie Team, this is Carrera's first time in the All-Conference First Team.
Senior attacker
Taylor Mullen rounded out the Catamounts on the All-Conference First Team, recording career-highs in goals (27), assists (13), and points (40) this season. The Delray Beach, Fla. native has doubled her career goals total this season, and ranks No. 2 on the team in assists and points.
On the All-Conference Second Team,
Camille Argentieri received the honor for the second consecutive season. One of Vermont's key defenders, the junior logged 18 caused turnovers and 18 ground balls this season.
Kendall Traveis was named to the league's All-Rookie Team after posting four goals in 10 games played this season. The first-year midfielder picked up eight ground balls and caused five turnovers.
Rounding out UVM's honorees is
Sophie McLaughlin, who was named to the America East All-Academic Team for the second year in a row. The senior carries a 3.98 GPA in Health Sciences. McLaughlin leads the Catamounts in ground balls per game (3.31) this season, which ranks No. 4 in the country. The goalkeeper carries a league-best 9.72 goals against average.
Second-seeded Vermont (12-4, 3-3 AE) heads to Albany, N.Y. for the America East Tournament, beginning with the Semifinals on Thursday (May 5) at John Fallon Field. The Catamounts will face No. 3 Binghamton (7-8, 2-4 AE) in their semifinal matchup. The opening draw is set for 6 p.m. and will broadcast live on
