The Catamounts qualified for the NCAA Tournament for the second straight season by virtue of a 13-11 win over UMBC in the America East title game on Saturday.
Thomas McConvey went for five goals – giving him 19 in his last three games – on his way to being named the tournament's Most Outstanding Player.
Ryan Cornell made 12 stops for the Cats in the victory and
Nick Alviti scooped up a game-high seven ground balls.
Â
Wednesday's matchup features a homecoming of sorts as Manhattan head coach Drew Kelleher starred for the Catamounts in the late 2000s. He was named America East Fans' Choice Player of the Year in 2009.
