"We don't pay much attention to polls or what other people think about us we play for ourselves and we are selfish about it," said Head Coach
Todd Woodcroft. "Our greenprint is simple, but that doesn't mean it is easy. Building something sustainable takes time and we collectively feel we are on our way. This year we will focus on taking our next step - we are not concerned with the expectations of others. We have our standards set by the team, from the team, for the team."
Reigning Hockey East regular season champions Northeastern received 105 points and seven first-place votes. Boston University (94 pts.), UMass (93 pts.) and Providence (76 pts.) rounded out the top four.
