No. 22 Vermont (5-1-1) hits the road on Wednesday (Sept. 21) when it travels to Loudonville, N.Y. for a non-conference matchup with Siena (4-1-1). Kickoff is slated for 4 p.m. at Hickey Field, and will broadcast live on ESPN+.

SCOUTING THE SAINTS
Siena enters Wednesday's game with wins in its last two appearances, including a 2-0 victory in their most recent outing at Merrimack. Thomas Storedegard leads the offense early in the season with six points (3 goals). Goalkeeper Greg Monroe is the reigning MAAC Defensive Player of the Week after an 11-save shutout in the victory over Merrimack. Monroe has a 1.06 goals against average and .824 save percentage in six starts this season. Siena was picked fifth in the MAAC Preseason Poll, with Jacob Sandun Arachchige-Jensen, Erik Reis, and Henrik Winkelmann on the preseason All-MAAC team.

Vermont is 10-2-1 in the all-time series against Siena with last season's meeting resulting in a 2-2 draw.
Zach Barrett scored the opening goal for UVM and
Adrian Schulze Solano netted his first collegiate goal in the tie. The Catamounts' last win over the Saints came in 2018 at Virtue Field. Geo Alves scored the clinching goal in the 10th minute of a 1-0 victory.

NATIONALLY-RANKED CATS
The Catamounts were ranked No. 22 in the United Soccer Coaches National Poll on Tuesday afternoon. The ranking is Vermont's first since 2018. UVM was also picked as the top team in the Northeast Region.
MURRAY EARNS TWO HONORS
Max Murray was named the America East Offensive Player of the Week after scoring in both of Vermont's victories last week. The midfielder netted the clinching goal in the 2-1 win over then-unbeaten Cornell, and scored the game's first goal as the Cats defeated UC Irvine 2-1 at home. Murray was also named to the College Soccer News Men's National Team for the week.

THREE-POINT NIGHT FOR NAGY
Fifth-year midfielder
Alex Nagy netted his first goal of the season in the 45th minute to lift the Cats over UC Irvine on Sunday night. The Bow, N.H. native's clinching goal was a part of a three-point night – the first by a Catamount this season.

ROAD WARRIORS
UVM has won five straight road games dating back to last season, which is the longest active streak in the nation. The Catamounts are unbeaten in the three road games in 2022, and have outscored opponents 5-1.
