COACH'S QUOTE
"We knew the level of competition we were going to be facing, so the teams' placing was not unexpected," head coach
Matt Belfield said. "It was great to get Jane started and have Andie back and able to race again. Personal-best performances from Hope, Hannah, and Emma L are noteworthy as well. For the men, Andrew ran the fastest time we've had at this meet. Jacob and Dillon ran personal-best times as well. We're going to be in races at the Paul Short Invite that will allow our teams to be engaged more toward the front, so we're looking forward to that scenario. Overall, we are seeing progress and we coaches are learning a lot about our many new racers. We'll be counting on both veterans and newcomers for scoring impact once we get to championship season."
