SCOUTING THE WILDCATS
UNH has split its first two league games with a 67-51 win over UAlbany (Dec. 31) and a 68-50 loss at Binghamton (Jan. 5). The Wildcats have been successful at Lundholm Gym so far this season, owning a 4-2 mark in their home arena. Clarence Daniels leads New Hampshire, averaging 15.4 points and 10.7 rebounds this season. Daniels scored a season-high 34 points earlier this season in a 74-71 upset win over Boston College. Nick Johnson (12.8 ppg) and Kyree Brown (10.2 ppg) are also averaging double figures for the Wildcats.
INSIDE THE SERIES
Vermont and New Hampshire meet for the 158th time – the longest series in program history. The Catamounts are 108-49 all-time against the Wildcats and 44-31 in Durham. Vermont has won 15 straight meetings against New Hampshire and has earned victories in 19 of the last 20. UVM clinched its sixth-straight America East Regular Season Title with a 71-50 victory over UNH last season in Durham.

The Catamounts have earned wins in each of their last six trips to Durham. Vermont has outscored New Hampshire by an average margin of 14.5 points per game in those victories.

John Becker passed Tom Brennan for the most wins in program history (265) with a 74-64 victory over Bryant on Jan. 5. Becker accomplished the feat in 375 games.

John Becker reached another milestone in the Jan. 5 win, clinching his 150th victory in America East play. Becker is the fourth-fastest head coach in Division I Men's Basketball history to reach 150 conference wins, doing so in 178 games. Only Jerry Tarkanian (160 games, Big West), Mark Few (168 games, WCC), and Adolph Rupp (170 games, SEC) have reached the milestone faster.
