John Becker will be coaching in his 400th game as Cioffi Men's Basketball Head Coach. He is 285-114 (.714) in 399 games as bench boss at Vermont. The winningest coach in program history ranks No. 3 all-time in games coached, behind Tom Brennan (540) and John "Fuzzy" Evans (456).

Vermont and Bradley are both ranked in the CollegeInsider.com Mid-Major Top 25 poll. The Catamounts were tabbed at No. 18 and the Braves were picked No. 8.

SCOUTING THE BRAVES
Bradley is off to a perfect 5-0 start this season, and recently captured the SoCal Challenge title with a 63-59 victory over UTEP on Wednesday night. The Braves are one of 39 teams still undefeated in Division I. KenPom ranks Bradley No. 75 in the country, and No. 51 in defensive efficiency. Malevy Leons leads the Braves' attack, averaging 15.4 points per game and 7.2 rebounds. Connor Hickman (12.8 ppg), Darius Hannah (11.2 ppg), and Christian Davis (10.8 ppg) also average double figures.

INSIDE THE SERIES
Vermont and Bradley will meet for the second time in series history. The Catamounts defeated the Braves 65-64 in the opening round of the 2017 Islands of Bahamas Showcase. Trae Bell-Haynes '18 sank the game-winning free throw with 2.6 seconds left.

Matt Veretto scored a career-high 23 points in Wednesday's win over VTSU-Johnson. The graduate student made a career-high eight field goals on 10 attempts, and knocked down a career-high six triples.
