RELIVING SATURDAY'S COMEBACK
TJ Long's four-point play at the buzzer lifted Vermont to an improbable 66-65 comeback victory over Yale on Saturday night in front of a packed Patrick Gym. The Catamounts were down 65-60 with just 3.8 seconds left.
Aaron Deloney scored a layup with 0.6 seconds remaining to make the score 65-62, and
TJ Hurley drew an offensive foul before Yale could inbound the ball to help the Cats regain possession. Deloney found Long on the right wing who banked in a three pointer while getting fouled at the buzzer and drained the ensuing free throw. KenPom had Vermont with a 0.8% chance of winning when down 65-62.
Long's basket was featured on Sportscenter's Top 10 plays.
