SCOUTING THE KNIGHTS
Fairleigh Dickinson is in search of its first win after suffering losses to Manhattan (L, 16-7) and Iona (L, 20-6). The 2023 campaign is the inaugural season for the FDU women's lacrosse program. Brielle McInaw scored the first goal in program history on Feb. 18 against Manhattan. McInaw leads FDU in goals (4) and points (5) to start the season. Saige-Lyn Gidzinski also has five points, recording three goals and two assists.

HOME OPENER VS NEC
Vermont hosts a school from the Northeast Conference in its home opener for the second consecutive season. The Catamounts defeated Wagner 10-6 to kick off the home slate in 2022.
Ava Vasile recorded four goals in the victory.

VIRTUE FIELD ADVANTAGE
UVM had a 4-2 mark at Virtue Field last season. The Catamounts outscored opponents by 4.5 goals per game while playing at home. UVM's two losses at Virtue Field were settled by only three goals.

Claire Adelhelm has opened the season with a team-high six points through the first three games. Her assists per game (1.67) ranks No. 7 in America East. Adelhelm began the season with a three-point outing (1 goal, 2 assists) at Temple.

EARLY OFFENSE FROM ERSKINE
Maddie Erskine also has a team-high six points to start the 2023 campaign. Erskine and
Ava Vasile lead the Catamounts with five goals each. The sophomore only needs two goals to match her output from 2022.

TRAUGER IMPRESSES
Jane Trauger has recorded six points in the first three games of her collegiate career, and is tied for the team lead. The rookie has four goals to start the season, including a pair of tallies against LIU on Feb. 22.
