COACH'S QUOTE
"We lost to a better team today," Head Coach
Todd Woodcroft said. "They are skilled, fast, disciplined, and lead the league in offense. In my opinion, this is the best team we've played this year. We couldn't match their output, but we matched their work ethic. In the long run, having some success against a team like BU this series will help us grow."
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Boston University's Jay O'Brien opened the scoring for the Terriers 2:56 into the contest on the power play. From just outside the faceoff circle O'Brien one-timed a feed from Jeremy Wilmer just inside the post for his seventh goal of the season.
- With 7:13 to play in the first period Domenick Fensore doubled the Terriers advantage in transition. Fenesore took a feed from Dylan Peterson, skated into the slot and wired a shot past UVM's Oskar Autio (28 saves) for his ninth goal of the season.
- Luke Tuch provided the insurance marker midway through the third period for the Terriers. Tuch deflected a Lane Hutson point shot from right in front of the UVM net for his ninth of the year.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
