After winning the first three carnivals of the EISA campaign the Catamounts are headed to the Granite State for the second-ever Harvard Carnival. The alpine teams will compete in Northern New Hampshire at Waterville Valley while the Nordic races will be held at the Dublin School Nordic Center in the southern portion of the state.

Harvard University will be streaming the action exclusively on ESPN+. On Friday, the giant slalom races will be broadcast beginning at 10 a.m. and then on Saturday the 3x5k Classic Relay will also be broadcast at 10 a.m.

JONES AND PALCHAK NAMED ALPINE SKIER OF THE WEEK
Vermont's
Caroline Jones and
Cole Palchak were named Alpine Skier of the Week following the SMC Carnival slalom last weekend. Palchak claimed his first-ever EISA win aided by a blistering first run that was .42 seconds faster than the rest of the field. Jones earned her third podium of the campaign with a third-place finish.

LAST TIME AT THE HARVARD CARNIVAL
The first-ever Harvard Carnival was contested three years ago in early January. The Catamounts claimed the inaugural Harvard Carnival with 867 points defeating Middlebury by four points.
Marina Vilanova won her first career EISA race in the giant slalom and Matias Ovrum and
Karl Schulz claimed the men's Nordic races for the Catamounts.
CATAMOUNTS RETURNING AFTER RUNNER-UP FINISH IN 2022
At the 2022 NCAA Skiing Championships hosted in Utah the Catamounts finished second overall with 511.5 points. It was their second National Runner-Up in the last three seasons.
Ben Ogden became the third Catamount in program history to sweep the Nordic races claiming the national title in the 10k Classic and 20k Freestyle. Vermont received 11 All-America citations in total.

HISTORY OF SUCCESS
The Catamounts second place finish at the NCAAs marked the third time since 2014 UVM has been National Runner-Up. It is the seventh time under Director of SkiingÂ
Bill Reichelt the Catamounts have finished in the top-three. Vermont now has 6 NCAA team championships, 72 individual national champions, 409 All-American citations and 38 EISA Championships in program history.
