Justine Clément earned First Team All-American honors as she collected silver in the slalom race during day one of the 2025 NCAA Skiing Championships hosted by Dartmouth, racing from The Skiway on Wednesday afternoon. It's Clément's fifth podium appearance on the season and third consecutive. After the first day of competition UVM is tied for third place with Utah, garnering 87 points throughout day one. Colorado sits atop in first place with 148 total team points.

On the slopes, women's Alpine collected the second most points on day one during the slalom race, seeing Clement finish in second place with a two-run time of 1:33.31, just .06 behind first place skier Sara Rask for Denver University. Clément's first run time of 44.96 was seventh fastest and her second run time of 48.35 was sixth fastest in the field.
Cydnie Timmermann placed 12th overall for the Catamounts, earning 19 team points with a two-run time of 1:34.08. Timmermann's first run time of 44.79 was the third fastest in the field.
Hanna Larsson Nathhorst finished in 19th place with a two-run time of 1:35.67, securing 12 team points. Vermont earned 68 team points on the women's slalom, second-most in the field.
Magnus Berge Styren was the Catamounts top scorer in the men's slalom, placing 13th overall with a two-run time of 1:28.82, earning 18 team points for UVM. UNH's Jayden Buckrell won the day with a combined run time of 1:27.17. He had the fastest first run time of 41.53 in the field.
Mackenzie Wood recorded the third fastest first run time in the field, racing a time of 41.79, but a slip up on his second run resulted in a massive drop, securing just one team point for UVM.
Cole Palchak secured the eighth fasted first run time of 42.56 before collecting a DNF on his second run.
Nordic skiing will open their first day of the championships with the men's and women's 7.5k classic individual start at Oak Hill in Hanover, NH, starting tomorrow morning at 10 a.m. (ET) The action will be streamed live on NCAA.com.
