SCOUTING THE SAINTS
The Saints head into Sunday's game on a three-game winning streak, with victories against Binghamton (W, 11-5), St. Bonaventure (W, 14-12), and most recently New Hampshire (W, 12-9) last weekend. The Saints were selected No. 2 in the MAAC Preseason Poll, tied with Mount St. Mary's. Fifth-year midfielder, Mary Sources, was chosen as the 2023 MAAC Preseason Player of the Year. So far this season, Sources leads her team in goals (13) and has added one assist. Sophomore attacker, Kelly Logue, is not far behind her with 10 goals. Grace Dobrzynski leads the team in points (20) with seven goals and 13 assists. Goalkeeper, Sabrina Krasner, has a total of 66 saves on the season and leads the MAAC in save percentage (.524%) and saves per game (11.0).Â

Jane Trauger scored a career-high five goals and six points in UVM's 12-7 victory over Harvard on Tuesday night. The rookie had registered her hat trick before the end of the first half. Trauger leads Vermont in goals (13) and points (17) through the first six games of her collegiate career.

CARRERA'S WEEKLY AWARD
Carolyn Carrera was named the America East Defensive Player of the Week on Monday afternoon after matching a career-high seven caused turnovers on Saturaday against Fairfield. Her caused turnover total is the second-highest single-game total in the country this season. Carrera currently ranks No. 4 in the nation in caused turnovers per game (3.00).

The Catamounts caused a season-high 23 turnovers in Saturday's meeting with Fairfield, which is the second-highest single-game total in the country this season. Carrera's seven caused turnovers led Vermont.Â

MCLAUGHLIN IN GOAL
Sophie McLaughlin recorded a season-high 13 saves in the road victory at Harvard. The graduate student tallied six of her saves in the fourth quarter to preserve the Vermont lead. Her 13-save outing is tied for the third-highest total among America East goalkeepers this season. McLaughlin's save percentage (.448) and goals against average (11.00) both rank No. 3 in the conference.

ADELHELM'S ASSISTS
Claire Adelhelm remains in the league's top 10 in assists, ranking in a tie for No. 5 with a 2.00 assists per game average. The sophomore leads the Cats with 12 assists and is second in points (16). She has already matched her points total from a season ago.
